About

My name is Tammy Venable and I am from Bremen Indiana.  I’ve spent much of my life in the non-profit world and have owned and operated several businesses.

I consider myself an amateur photographer. I enjoy taking pictures and especially love landscape and wildlife photography. I, however, do not like taking wedding photography so much. The most I really do with people photography is senior pictures. I tend not to do any kinds of photography that I do not enjoy.

For a short time (about 3 years), I owned and operated a custom framing store where I also had an art gallery display of all my photography. It was in a very small town and was tough to keep up financially.  If I hadn’t been so stressed with overhead, it would have done really well. I find that I never charge enough for my work (I have a tough time with that because I want everyone to be able to afford it).

I started selling my photography online as stock photography. I actually have done decent with that and I thought I would start a blog to help others do the same thing. All of the links I provide to the stock sites I use are referral links (I’ll get a bonus for your sign up under my link). This helps me out when you sign up under me. I’d really appreciate your click!

I’ve found that the more photos I upload to the sites, the more I sell. Of course, there are a few photos that have done exceptionally well because they are great photos and they are desired by buyers. The more photos you upload like that, the more money you can make!

I hope you find my blog interested and helpful.  If you would like to be a guest writer and write a blog post about photography, especially stock photography, please send me a note!  I’d love to share your knowledge!

Thank you for visiting!

Matthew 19:26

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
